Bartlesville, Oklahoma – February 13, 2013 – In February 2013, local design agency PDG+creative celebrates 20 years in business, and to honor the occasion, they’re relaunching the company’s brand, to include an all-new iteration of their iconic logo.
PDG+creative is a Bartlesville-based design agency, whose team of nine operates from a 4,000-square-foot commercial space downtown in the historic Pioneer building. Combined with a portfolio of almost 500 logos and countless advertising campaigns and websites, not to mention their impressive collection of industry awards, it’s hard to recall that 20 years ago this company was a one-man operation in an 88-square-foot room in his apartment.
“We’re definitely not resting on history,” said Matt Pendergraff, PDG+creative’s founder and Executive Creative Director, of his company’s 20 year anniversary. “We’re happy to celebrate this milestone, but we’re also using it as an opportunity to hit the reset button, and we’re going forward with a renewed sense of passion and energy.”
Early iterations of the PDG+creative client list were an exclusive “who’s who” of Bartlesville establishments and individuals, but the company has grown to serve national and international clientele as well, and has worked with such recognizable names as CBS Network, Microsoft UK, The New York Times, AOL, Facebook and Guy Kawasaki.
On the other side of these creative endeavors is the company’s generous support of various community organizations and non-profits. PDG+creative has donated more than $2.5 million in pro-bono hours and expenses to organizations like Big Brother Big Sister, YMCA, Relay for Life and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Plus, Pendergraff himself has served on numerous committees and service boards, including the local Chamber of Commerce board, and is Vice-President of InSight Ministries.
“20 years has afforded us the opportunity to do a lot of things on a lot of different scales,” said Pendergraff. “That’s given us both diverse experience and a diverse body of work, and that leaves us particularly well-equipped to serve a broader audience.”
