PDG+creative Earns Industry Award
The
Davey Awards is an international award that honors the creative work of
small firms worldwide. The Awards are judged by leaders of the
International Academy of the Visual Arts and focus on honoring
distinction and uniqueness in creative work. The concept of the Davey
Awards is to allow entrants to compete only with their peers; entrants
must be at or below a certain annual billing mark in order to compete.
This allows small firms, with big ideas, to garner the recognition they
deserve.
PDG+creative was honored for their creation of the Green Country Marketing web site. This site employed a number of new technologies and featured innovative functionalities that would allow users to compile vacation itineraries, search area events, “flip through” digital publications and browse coupons, among other features. The site was created in four months and went live in February of this year.
The interactive team at PDG+creative continues to pride itself on their ability to stay on track with current web trends and development standards, providing clients with effective, interactive web sites. They also focus heavily on the need to create sites that are easily navigated and generate user-confidence. To this end, PDG+creative continues to shape its interactive department, bringing together a team that combines interactive skill with an eye for design and unique understanding of functionality.
