With the help of Stroman and Associates, Greater Cornerstone Community Development Project has embarked on a mission to strengthen lives in the community of West Tulsa. Part of this area, known as South Haven, will become home to a Community Center that will provide residents with needed social services, medical care and other community resources.

Greater Cornerstone Community Development Project (GCCDP) was created to bring awareness to the needs of West Tulsa and raise funds to create the much needed Community Center. PDG+creative was enlisted to assist with this vision. With the blueprints for the Community Center already in place, the theme for the campaign became “A Blueprint for Change”.

This theme allowed for a strong creative direction towards the textures, colors, and other characteristics of architectural blueprints. This direction was the basis for all campaign collateral, including a large format brochure. Printed on a specialty paper and tape bound, this brochure was used to introduce the public and potential donors to the needs and plans for the Community Center.

Photos of individuals and families were used to show who would benefit from the Community Center. Fonts that resembled handwriting added to the personal feeling of the brochure while reinforcing the architectural theme. Designed to be rolled-up like actual blueprints, GCCDP’s logo and contact information is placed vertically along the side of the brochure, making their information highly visible and adding to the importance of both the campaign and the cause.

This same styling used in this brochure was carried through to a smaller gate-folded brochure and insert card for donations. This visual unity creates an impact that, if realized, will resound throughout the community of West Tulsa. Together, these pieces will become the catalyst to help the GCCDP make the change that is necessary to build a place of hope and opportunity.
