caffeine cms overview
We needed to empower our clients. They alone needed to control their site content, including images and site structure. Enter "Caffeine". A web-based, custom content management system that has given our clients the editing abilities they need using simple, Word-like interfaces and easy drag-and-drop file/image rearranging. The "Caffeine" CMS was masterminded within the PDG+creative studio and has since been put into effect for more than 85% of our client websites.
"Caffeine" is equipped with several standard modules, including: administration (allows the client to create and control user accounts), pages (controlling site structure), photo gallery, news (for press releases), events and e-commerce. In addition to these, "Caffeine" can be completely customized with modules to support any client's specific content needs. All modules, standard and custom, are completely accesible to the client and can be edited, deleted or made inactive.
Amongst client's favorite "Caffeine" features is the ease of editing. Text editing utilizes a Word-like toolbar that allows you to change font or paragraph format, insert images or flash video, copy and paste and even spellcheck. Page editing is equally simple, allowing you to change a page title, text/image alignment, arrangement in the navigation and whether or not the page is active (whether or not it appears on the site).
